Holly-Jane Rahlens has worked in radio, TV and film as an actress, producer and commentator. Prince William, Maximilian Minsky and Me, in translation, won the prestigious 2003 Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis as the best young adult novel published in Germany. She has since adapted the book into a film screenplay, which is currently in production. She was born in New York, but now lives in Berlin.
