The 62nd edition of the New Zealand Cricket Almanack (and the 27th under the current editors) covers a busy twelve months on the cricketing calendar, including all the big action from the men's and women's games. It will feature New Zealand in Bangladesh, New Zealand in Australia (two tours - tests and Chappell-Hadlee Trophy), West Indies in New Zealand, India in New Zealand. Also included will be features on the World Twenty20 Championship in England in June (men's and women's), women's Rose Bowl and women's World Cup in Australia. As well, the England A tour of New Zealand is covered along with the New Zealand under 19 tour of England and the emerging players' tours plus all the usual domestic and age group cricket.

Francis Payne and Ian Smith are New Zealand's foremost cricket statisticians and have been editing The Cricket Almanack for many years. Payne, in particular, is well-known to all cricket followers. He is a regular guest on both radio and television and is also chief statistician for New Zealand Cricket.
