Author(s): Simon Carr
After his wife's death, Simon Carr was left with the task of raising their two young boys alone. Moving yet humorous, it tells the story of Carr's relatively rule-free household, recounting his successes and his failures as a parent, and acting as a guide for those dealing with grief and parenting hand-in-hand.
"Achingly funny and almost unbearably moving." - "Daily Mail
"Compulsive." -" Guardian
"Carr's brilliantly written account of life as a single parent should become a required manual on parenting." -" Sunday Times
Simon Carr was born in India in 1952. He was educated at Haileybury and Brasenose College, Oxford. He has written one novel, The Hop Quad Dolly, and done a fair amount of journalism.
