Description

Author description

Ruth Starke worked in public relations and travel marketing before turning to fiction writing in 1992. She has since published nine novels for young people. Ruth teaches English and Creative Writing at Flinders University. She has been a judge of the Australian National Festival Awards for Children's Literature since 1995.
