Sophie Furse attended university in Bristol and holds a Masters in Literature. She works as a writer and editor of chikdren's books and lives in West Sussex. Penko Gelev graduated from the National Art School in Sofia in 1987. He is a film and children's television producer, and also finds time to draw comics and illustrations for children. He lives in Sofia, Bulgaria.
