Peter Bland has just won the 2011 NZ Prime Minister's Award for Literary Achievement in Poetry ($60,000) and recently featured on Saturday Morning with Kim Hill on National Radio.

Award-winning poet and a distinguished actor Peter Bland was born in Yorkshire and emigrated to New Zealand in 1954.
