Kyo Maclear is a children's author, novelist and essayist. She was born in England, but moved to Canada at a young age. Kyo's father is British and her mother is Japanese. Kyo now lives in Toronto with her two sons, two cats, a musician and a truckload of books. Julia Sarda (Illustrator) Julia Sarda is an illustrator from Barcelona. Julia has illustrated some incredible debut fiction and everlasting classics, including Katherine Woodfine's The Sinclair's Mysteries and the cover to M.G. Leonard's Beetle Boy. The Liszts is Julia's debut picture book.
