Nick Bland is one of Australia’s bestselling authors and illustrators. His books, including the hugely popular The Very Cranky Bear, have been published around the world. In 2010 The Wrong Book was named an Honour Book by the CBCA. Nick always told his family and friends he was going to be a cartoonist and a writer. It wasn’t until 1996, when he stumbled into a bookshop job, that he finally found the medium that would bring those two loves together. His first picture book was published by Scholastic Press in 2005. Nick lives in Darwin.
