A collection of poetry and photography. David Howard has won poetry awards and is the author of "In the First Place" (1991), "Holding Company" (1995) and "Shebang: Collected Poems 1980-2000" (2000). He co-founded the Canterbury Poets Collective, the literary journal "Takahe" and edited "Complete with Instructions". He lives in Purakanui, Otago. Fiona Pardington's principal medium is photography. She has won New Zealand awards and was the Artist in Residence at Auckland Unitec in 2001. She presently lectures in Sculpture at the Elam School of Fine Art, the University of Auckland.
