Martin Bailey has worked as an illustrator for almost thirty years. He has illustrated for both the advertising and educational industries - including over one hundred children's readers. In 1992 he won the Jury du Ille Prix Olympia World's Best Olympic Stamp Design Award and in 1997 he won the Robert Stolz Award for Music Philately World's Best Music Themed Stamps. He lives north-west of Auckland between Waimauku and Muruwai Beach.
