David Evans is one of Australia's most dynamic and talented landscape photographers. He is the current AIPP Epson South Australian Professional Photographer of the Year, and the AIPP SA Landscape Photographer of the year. David says, "seeing spectacular locations and being in the outdoors gives me an immense and overwhelming feeling of well-being. This is made more special when I can give others a taste of this feeling I experience, through my photographs." He believes New Zealand is a diverse, striking and beautiful place that can constantly be presented in new and innovative ways. David's partner was born in New Zealand, and this has provided an opportunity to travel there extensively to discover the magnificent landscape and learn more about the people of Aotearoa. He is the author of the highly acclaimed book Australia: Facing the South (Australian Gallery Publishing), and The Face of Australia.
