Some Doors Are Best Left Closed

Author(s): Trevor Prout

NZ Fiction

If you ever find yourself awoken by a phone you didn't know you had, coming from a room you didn't even know existed, whatever you do... Don't answer that phone! If only someone had told that to Joe. Because for the failed author, still finding consolation at the bottom of a bottle due to his recent divorce, answering that phone changed everything in ways he was definitely not expecting. Because what was going to happen next was far weirder than anything he'd ever thought of writing.

Product Information

The author was born in Exeter, England. In the mid-1960s, when he was 12, the family emigrated to South Africa. His love of reading took flight when he found a James Bond book (Goldfinger) on the airplane, and he lost himself in fantasy land. Occasionally, he finds his way back-mostly to earn money. 30 years later, he emigrated to New Zealand with his family. He is now retired and is trying his hand entertaining people, as he himself has been so richly entertained.
