Mischief & Mayhem: 30 New Zealand Stories for Children

Author(s): Barbara Else

NZ Chapter Books

Following on from the success of CLAWS AND JAWS comes this collection of stories about the chaos and adventure that seem to go hand in hand with children and their exploits. Writers include old favourites like Jane Buxton, Pat Quinn and David Hill; and interesting newcomers like Ted Dawe, Melanie Drewery and Lorraine Orman. As with CLAWS AND JAWS, Philip Webb is the illustrator and his lively and humorous illustrations are the perfect complement to Barbara Else's fantastic selection of stories. All children get up to mischief of some kind and our childhood memories are often of the great adventures we had - this collection will be enjoyed by children and adults alike. First published October 2005.
