PRAISE FOR "Legends, Icons Rebels: " "This is a book that will touch you with the flame that earned these titans their place in the pantheon." -- Four Stars, "Rolling Stone Magazine" "Wow, just wow! This book is big in every way.... Incredible thought has been put into this oversize offering, from selection of the artists to the eye-popping design and even to the quality of the paper.... All of the material feels fresh, and with back matter aplenty, there are lots of ways that this could be used in schools--or kids could just kick back, read, and listen." -- Starred Review, "Booklist" "Each artist gets a lively and colourful spread with a short bio, a few fun facts, and a very select list of great hits. It all makes for a breezy, informative read, and the two CDs that come with the book are a helpful and welcome addition.... ["Legends, Icons Rebels"] offers a more knowledgeable and idiosyncratic approach to musical discovery than any Amazon customer list." -- Feature Review, "Quill Quire"
