Sally Grindley is the award-winning author of over a dozen picture books including Shhh! (Andersen), winner of the UK's Children's Book Award, I Don't Want To (Little, Brown), and Wake Up Dad (Doubleday). She also writes novels for older children - including Smarties Prize Winner Spilled Water. Sally is also an experienced compiler and has put together several story anthologies for Kingfisher, including Stories for the Very Young. Sally lives in Cheltenham, Gloucester.
