Brought up in the north of England, Anne Zouroudi - one of nature's natural travellers - has spent much of her adult life in less dour climates. Following a spell on Wall Street and in the Colorado Rockies, she abandoned a lucrative career with a major British travel agent for a simpler life in the Greek islands. Returning to the UK, she trained as a journalist, then funded her ambition to write by any possible means, including writing copy for travel brochures, delivering Yellow Pages and working in an antique shop. Her attachment to Greece remains strong, and the country is the inspiration for much of her writing. She lives in the Derbyshire Peak District with her son.
