A whodunnit. 89yr old spinster,Janet Souter,takes pleasure in raking up old scandal and in refusing her two nephews money to bolster their businesses.She obtains some arsenic to kill the rats in her garden.She tells them about the poison and waits for them to prove themselves worth of their inheritance by trying to kill her. Several other people hear about the poison and someone suceeds in silencing her vicious tongue forever.
