Description

If you read Talking to Blue you'll remember Mike has been arrested after a spate of serial murders, dubbed the Blue killings because all the victims wore something blue. Mike got involved when Blue talked to him on his cellphone.
In this sequel, Blue kills again, so Mike is released. But he hasn't finished with Blue, and Blue hasn't finished with Mike. Someone else must die.
This chilling psychological thriller is even better than the prequel, as the reasons for the murders become clear. We are thrust into the mind of a young schizophrenic suffering delusions and comparing himself to King Richard III as he explains his actions.
Blue Murder is a hard, gripping, intense novel, with great dialogue and well paced. The scenes with Mike and his lawyers and with his girlfriend Sheril are particularly sinister. Not recommended for under 14 years.
