Eva Hesse (1936-1970) was an experimental artist who challenged the conventions of her time. This book explores her drawing process, following her work from drawing to painting and sculpture, and always back to drawing. It features important rediscovered 'working drawings', providing a look at Hesse's everyday practice and methodology.
Catherine de Zegher is Director of The Drawing Center, New York, and co-editor of 3 x Abstraction: New Methods of Drawing by Hilma af Klint, Emma Kunz, and Agnes Martin (Yale).
